Douglas T. Dietrich is vice president, Corporate Development and Treasury of Minerals Technologies, a position he assumed on August 1, 2007.
Prior to joining MTI, Mr. Dietrich was vice president, Alcoa Wheel Products - Automotive Wheels, where he held profit and loss responsibility for a global $350 million division with six manufacturing facilities located in the U.S., Canada, Venezuela, and Russia.
During Doug’s tenure at Alcoa, he also served as president, Alcoa Latin America Extrusions, with profit and loss responsibility for a $260 million division with operations located in Brazil, Venezuela, the United States, Korea and Russia; general manager, Global Rod and Bar Products, producing specialty alloys for the Automotive and Aerospace industry; and as manager, Business Development and Strategic Global Sourcing - Asia & Latin America, where he developed and implemented a low-cost country sourcing strategy with focus on China and Brazil.
Before joining Alcoa, Doug worked for Eaton Corporation and Westinghouse Electric Corporation where he held various positions in Engineering and Operations Management.
Doug holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
